Nice Jazz Festival France
Nice Jazz festival takes place every year in the city Nice situated on the southern France. It Takes Place every summer. A concert is held for eight days each night between 7 PM at midnight and there is no control on volume levels. It has over 500 jazz musicians, 75 concerts and a total of 120 hours of musical madness. Due to this festival Nice receives each year more than 45,000 visitors, from musicians to spectator’s. The Nice Jazz Festival was founded by Jacques Hebey in 1940 and it first took place in the theatre de Verdure, when the Nice city’s jazz scene was at full swing. France has a house for jazz musicians since the musical way was discovered and the Nice Jazz Festival has maintained a reputation of one of the most exhilarating music festivals in the world.
The Nice Jazz Festival is organized in the Cimiez Arenas and Gardens, the stages are constructed in the impressive 2000-year-old Gallo-Roman amphitheatre and picturesque olive orchard. Then the actors perform on the stage in the evening, their acts. After every hour the sets changes, it gives the spectator varieties in different stages, having the various styles and moods. People enter the festival at 7PM and music continues till the early hours of the morning. The festival covers music of modern era too, from eclectic, obscure and even experimental jazz. African and traditional gospel to modern fusion and trendy urban funk is just avoidable in the festival. Legendary jazz stars including Eryhkah Badu, BB King, Jamiroquai, Joss Stone and Jimmy Cliff has played in the festival.
